Leh Serenity Alas!
Leh the mosaic of landscapes, a marvel that pleases the heart. It's like the drawing i made in my second class, huge mountains, few birds, a lake and us in the camp just beside it. God used rich palette with high definition and perfect resolution. You can focus your camera on any part and it would turn out to be an epitome of beauty.
Leh is like the beauty and the beast, it's nature at its best and the harsh weather the beast that protects the beauty. The magnanimous mountains silently show you how small you and your problems are and the scars left by the water on mountains teach you the power of little things.
Life needs an adrenaline rush once in a while! Leh was just that for me, i had seen it in movies heard travel stories, ahem there I was in front of the most alluring beauty. Vistara our airlines from Delhi to Leh ,the first look from the sky it was a clear day a feast to the eyes from one side of the aircraft you could see the peaks of K2, Nanga Parbat, Gasherbrum and on the other side of the aircraft, your so close to Nun kun you could reach out and touch it!

Enthralled by the beauty I was ready to explore, but first u need to acclimatize, otherwise you could suffer from AMS -acute mountain sickness. Before going to Leh we did a lot of research, I even took the preventive medicine for AMS but my bad I had side affects so be cautious.
Snow capped mountains, lakes, sand dunes, magnetic hills, confluence of two rivers God's visual art that speak for themselves. The heavenly monasteries -tier by tier architecture on hills made by humans are a way of expressing gratitude to the supreme power.
The people of Leh have too many wrinkles, not as much due to harsh weather but because of the smile that never fades. All in all my favorites Pangong lake, Numbra Valley, Kardungla -the highest motarable road in the world, Rafting in Zanskar river,Changla pass, two humped camel ride, shopping at Leh market ,the hall of fame worth a visit for every Indian and 515 years old peaceful Dikshit monastery .
We went for SELFIES- Leh quenches all thirsts!
